The EUROPROBE Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day running of the EUROPROBE programme, ranging from co-ordination of the science to the organization of workshops. The EUROPROBE Science Co-ordinator  (Irina Artemieva, geophysicist) works together with the ESSC chairman (David Gee, geologist) who is assisted (part-time) by Olga Bogolepova (paleontologist) and Monica Beckholmen (geologist). Hermann Zeyen (geophysicist) was EUROPROBE ScienceCo-ordinator in 1994-1998 and Christopher Juhlin (geophysicist) held this position during EUROPROBE's first ESF years (1992-94).
